This summer, an eXXpedition crew will be sailing through the heart of the North Pacific Gyre (aka the Great Pacific Garbage Patch) from Hawaii to Vancouver, then on from Vancouver to Seattle.
During the voyages, the multidisciplinary team will collect data and samples to feed in to influential studies around the world. Additionally, as with all eXXpedition voyages, we are bringing together a group of women with diverse experiences to encourage collaboration on everything from communicating the message of ocean plastic to product redesign.
