Aboard Sea Dragon, scientists, social innovators, and public figures brainstorm to create sustainable solutions to the plastic pandemic facing our oceans. Mission Leader Emily Penn led the group through the discussion and supported an organized approach to innovative ideas. Certainly the bulk were aimed at the source of the problem, manufacturing, but many other areas became visible including circular solutions, down-cycling measures, and ocean-based interventions.
