eXXpedition is delighted to announce the eXXpedition Developing Nations Bursary, in association with UN Clean Seas.

The eXXpedition team is passionate about the importance of diversity and inclusiveness in our voyages, and is pleased to now be in a position to be able to offer a crew space to an individual who might otherwise not have the opportunity to join us.

This bursary is for one space on the following voyage:
eXXpedition North Pacific Leg 2: Vancouver to Seattle via Vancouver Island
21st – 28th July 2018
Exploring remote coastlines to survey for plastic pollution. We will be coastal hopping to find out how plastic pollution is impacting the shore and communities. This sail will also involve cleanup projects where possible.
The successful applicant will be:
  • A female citizen of a developing nation
  • Able to demonstrate an interest in, commitment to and action on tackling plastic pollution within their community (or further afield)
  • Available to travel and take part in the whole of leg 2.
