Tilly-HeathwoodMeet Tilly Heathwood… whose love of all things ocean and photography has led her to follow her dreams into a career as a marine photographer.

Tilly, who grew on the water in East Sussex has always been fascinate by the blue. Her Dad is a keen sailor, and has always encouraged Tilly to take to the water!

In 2014 Tilly started her journey into marine photography by enrolling on the Marine and Natural History Photography degree course at Falmouth University in Cornwall, UK.

I love documenting experiences and moments with photography and film. I feel it’s the best way to get vital messages across in the current, modern world”

Tilly hopes that her eXXpedition Caribbean voyage will help her better understand the current state of our oceans and we are most excited about seeing all the footage and film she shot!

Whilst Tilly reflected on her eXXpedition experience and adjusted to life back on terra firma, we caught up with her to put her in the hot seat and find out more about the girl behind the camera….
